Fishing in our area slowed down a bit last week. Following the coolest temperatures of the year, we are optimistic that it will rebound this week. Inshore, our guides are looking at some deep water structure to purge out some bites. Docks make great fish haunts, and some of our inshore crew have been doing well methodically working some of the deeper docks in the upper bay. Shrimp under a popping cork, or on a 1/4 jig head has been the tactic. This method of fishing has yielded, snook, redfish, snapper, sheepshead, and black drum. No matter the weather, there are always Fishing opportunities in Charlotte Harbor, and we have the guides that know the tricks. For this reason, it's a great time to travel and be fishing in South West Florida!
