Had my crew on the water today to do some fishing. Everyone caught a big snook, then we went and caught some mangrove snapper for dinner. It was a beautiful day but hot, so there was lots of swimming during and after!!!

With windy conditions due to a tropical depression in the gulf of Mexico, we have turned our attention inshore for big snook this week.  These fish are preparing for a summer time spawn, and can be found in and around our areas passes in large numbers.  Our Guides have been successful Fishing the water movement around tide breaks and deep edges.  Take extra special care of these fish, when Fishing heave cover, do not go in out gunned.  Make sure you have the tackle that can move these big girls off the structure they hold on.  It is important as anglers to do our part to insure our own actions don't have an effect of future population numbers.  As always, it's a great time to be fishing in South West Florida.
