We had a good cold front move through the area in the first part of November. It dropped our water temps considerably, inshore temps saw the 60 degree mark, and our gulf waters dumped down to 65. That moved big fish in close to shore, and the artificial reefs with in 10 miles have been very productive. Big #amberjack, #snapper, grouper, and #cobia have been caught throughout the month. Inshore, the dip in temperature moved our #snook population into the creeks, leaving the #redfish to forage on the area's fertile flats alone. Fishing the broken bottom areas in the warmth of the mornings have been the most productive pattern for targeting the redfish. The traps off the beaches are holding triple tail, but they seem to have moved into deeper water due to recent red tides. It's a great time to get on the water in SW Florida!!!
